Heavy rains are possible in the spring and fall, and the city should be avoided in July and August. However, the weather is unpredictable from November to February, with periods of brilliant sunshine and cold.

One of the most important aspects of Bologna is its cuisine, which is known for its various specialties. Tagliatelles al ragadu, tortellini in brodos, and lasagna are just a few examples.
